Professional Makeup Artist


Ashley Leonette Lusk 

 

 

    



Freelance worker who works with companies such as Tiny Diva Princess Party and All About Fun 4 Kids. She began her career at the age of sixteen when she joined the work staff of Mall of America's Club Libby Lu; learning the hair styles, glitter nails, and the fun up beat persona needed for working with children. Being a natural with the hair dues and dancing around the store in fairy wings when ever possible she stayed with the crew until the final days before the store when out of business. Having found her calling in art she graduated from Lakeville South High School in Lakeville Minnesota to continue her education in Makeup Artistry at Faces Ect. of MN.  Ashley acquired a small, but fun(!), job while still enrolled with Faces, at Buckhill for their new haunted house FrightMares. Here she worked with scare crows, zombies, and Gypsies. She enjoyed working with all the characters and would often help create a few wondering characters ideas come to life. As the season ended and her education came to a close she acquired a new gig working as a Costumed Character for All About Fun 4 Kids. Having played Cinderella, Belle, Alice in Wonderland, and Snow White she sees no princess too difficult to portray.

Ashley not being one to sit ideally for too long, enjoys trying out new positions in the professional field. Working with Professional Model Lisa Doty she has worked behind the scenes of a few fashion shows as a Personal Assistant and Dresser for the models. Her artistic and pull towards special effects in make up has lead to a few jobs one of which was with The School of Rock for their KISS production along side her fellow alumni from Faces. Having a joy for learning all artistic out reaches she has dived in to learning both Face Painting and Henna from Deborah DeBellis from All About Fun 4 Kids.

Taking the training and experiences she has gained from her other pursuits she and her mother, Dawn Manthey, have worked together to create a children’s party service called Tiny Diva Princess Party. Here she works as a costumed character, hair dresser, henna tattooist, face painter, spa specialist, and entertainer for children and teens.

Ashley is currently enrolled at Normandale Community College working towards a bachelor in communications. She is an avid participant of her church, River Valley, and works with both children and teens. She hopes to further her makeup career specializing in special effects and work with up and coming directors.
